Combina - 11S test method: Compilyzer, 11S Strip test

Combina - 11S Strip test method:

  1. Urine should be collected in a clean container and taken to a test tube.
  2. Take a Combina 11S strip and dip it in urine for one to two seconds.
  3. After 1 to 2 seconds, lift the strip from the urine and hold it parallel.
  4. After 1 to 2 minutes, the color chart given with the box of the strip will be reported by matching the color of the places with the reagent of the strip used.

Combilyzer is a modern machine for testing urine with the help of strip. This device is used to test urine with a strip called Combina-11S.

Combina-11s can be used to detect the presence of 
      • Leucocyte (pus cell), 
      • RBC, 
      • Protein (Albumin), 
      • Nitrite, 
      • pH, 
      • Specific gravity (density)
      • Urobilinogen, Bilirubin
      • Glucose
      • Ketone
      • Ascorbic acid in urine by combilyzer.

How to use combilyzer:

  1. Combilyzer must be connected to the power.
  2. In an 4 inch test tube should be filled with urine
  3. Combina-11S and a strip-urine filled test tube should be dipped for one to two seconds.
  4. The strip of Combina-11S should be lifted from the tube of urine and lightly touched on a tissue paper 15 times to absorb excess urine-tissue paper from the strip, then wait 1-2 minutes.
  5. Now place the strip in the specified place of the combilyzer and press on the reading switch.
  6. The Strip will slowly move inside the combilyzer after a certain period of time and will come out again immediately, and the report will be printed on the printer immediately.
